Thank you! I’ve just been suuuper busy and it’s hard to find the time to update :/
Hey guys! I know I haven’t been on in a while, so I’d like to apologize. I’ve been pretty swamped so its hard for me to find the time to sit down and write. I just thought I’d let you know what’s happening (:
Niall poked his head into the room you two shared, and where you were currently getting ready.
“Ready?” he asked. “People will be here soon.” You faced the mirror and answered him without turning around.
“Almost. Will you help me with my necklace?” He nodded silently and stepped into the room. His black slacks were complimented nicely by the white shirt he wore. His arms wrapped over your shoulders and brought the necklace around, his cold fingers giving you goose bumps when they grazed the back of your neck. He fumbled for a second then brought your luscious hair back over your shoulder to hide the clasp. He kissed your chilled shoulder softly before speaking again.
“Nervous?” You shrugged, smiling a little bit.
“A little bit I guess, but we had to meet each other’s families eventually,” you answered. He nodded agreeing but your conversation was interrupted by the ring of the doorbell from downstairs.
“He we go,” he murmured taking your hand and also a deep breath. You both walked down the stairs to the front door and Niall swung it open with you at his side. He was engulfed into a hug by his big brother, followed by a few brotherly smacks on the back.
“You must be Steph,” he smiled when Niall let him go. You nodded shyly, a grin on your face as you looked up at him. He pulled you in for a hug as well, but a little bit gentler than the one he had given your boyfriend. “This is Denise, my wife,” he introduced gesturing to the gorgeous lady beside him. Niall gave her a quick hug first.
“It’s so nice to meet you, sweetie,” she cooed while you hugged her too. These didn’t feel like awkward hugs, these were just like hugging your family and after the good feeling you got from Denise and Greg, you were excited to meet his parents too. Your sister showed up not long later and wrapped an uncomfortable Niall into yet again. You could tell he didn’t really want to hug back for fear of overstepping the boundaries, but after the small smile and nod you gave him, he relaxed and hugged her too. Your sister made her way into the kitchen and introduced herself to Greg and Denise. You turned to Niall, both stood in the entryway. Your nerves were increasing every minute your parents and his weren’t there.
“What if they don’t like me?” you asked Niall, full of worry. His hands laced with yours down at your sides and he planted a kiss to your forehead.
“You’re over thinking it. We’re going to have a fun night. Okay?” You swallowed and nodded before burying your face in his chest. One of his arms wrapped around your waist and the other cradling your head to his body while he kissed you on the top of the head.
“Well, I approve already,” you heard your father say from the doorway. Both of your heads snapped up and saw your parents, your grandmother, and his parents standing at the open front door, nodding in agreement.
“I agree, seems he’s completely smitten. As well as she,” Maura replied.
“Welcome to the family,” Niall’s dad murmured.
It was a good night.
As soon as I can (: I’m helping my brother move (He lives In another state) so I’m going to try to post when I can.
Sorry I a haven’t posted much lately! I’m currently helping my brother move right now (:
Of course, babe.
Thanks! I love you too! (:
So an imagine of how one of the guys treats her on her period? Yeah, I can do that. (:
Once again you woke up with an upset stomach. This had been going on for days, and although Niall was being a sweetheart with it by holding your hair and rubbing your back whenever you were stuck in the bathroom throwing up, you were tired of being sick.
“I just want to be over this,” you mumbled to him while you both sat on the floor of the bathroom. He wrapped you up in his arms and pressed a damp cloth to your forehead.
“Do you think it’s food poisoning?” he questioned gently. You shook your head.
“No, it wouldn’t be lasting this long. Right?” He shrugged in agreement and you both went quiet, thinking. After a moment or two, your eyes widened and you sat up. “Niall, will you drive me to the store?” you asked hastily. He looked at you concerened before stammering a:
“Yeah sure, baby. Anything.”
The car ride was a solid 5 minutes of silence, except for your heart that was beating so hard you couldn’t think. You speed walked into the store with Niall hot on your trail.
“Where are they,” you whispered to yourself zooming up and down the aisles.
“Where are what? Stephanie what are you looking for?” Niall demanded, following you closely. You stopped when you found it, spinning around and handing him the small box labeled ‘Pregnancy test’. He read the packaging and looked back up at you, completely shocked. “This is a p-pregnancy-“ You cut him off.
“I know, Ni. Think about it!” You began to pace in the aile and your tone became more and more stressed. His huge hands grasped your shoulders, still holding the box in his fingers and he looked you in the eyes.
“Baby, it’s going to be alright. We’re going to go home, and we’re going to find out whether or not we’re going to be parents. Worrying is not going to help, so calm down. It’s okay.” You fell into his arms and he squeezed you tight before guiding you to the check-out counter and driving you both home.
You and Niall sat on the edge of the bathtub, staring at the counter where the pregnancy test laid. He had an arm around your waist to try to calm you a little bit.
“I hope it’s positive,” Niall blurted out. You looked up at his smiling face. “The timing’s a bit random, but I know we both wanted to have kids, and… You’d be the best mom,” he rambled. As soon as he said that, your body calmed down. You knew that he was going to be there with you, no matter what, and as soon as the time was up, you snatched the small stick off the counter. You both stood up, too anxious to stay sitting. “What’s it say?” Niall asked. He glanced at the test then to your face to try to read your expression while rubbing his sweaty palms against his pants. You looked up at him, a wide smile tugging at your lips.
“It’s positive,” you whispered. His face lightened.
“Positive?” You nodded.
“Positive,” you squealed. His picked you up and spun you around in the small space of the bathroom.
“There are my beautiful girls,” Niall cooed when he walked in the front door. You sat on the couch with your seven month belly protruding.
“Don’t lie,” you mumbled when he bent down to kiss your forehead.
“What?” he asked, confused.
“I’m not beautiful! I’m huge. I’ve got stretch marks and I’m fat,” you pouted. He shook his head and kneeled in front of you.
“You listen to me. You are not fat. You’re carrying our baby! I couldn’t care less about stretch marks, you’re the most beautiful girl in the world.” Your frown cracked into a small smile when you heard the sincerity in his voice.
“Promise,” he assured before kissing your lips then moving down and kissing your stomach.
I’ll definitely be sure to check that out! (:
